Abstract
Formation of a patient bioresource and database on all patients with either suspected or confirmed COVID-19 infection presenting to the Imperial NHS Trust (through the Imperial Health Knowledge Bank) and coordinate that with national efforts BioAid and ISARIC in order to discover new prognostic and diagnostic biomarkers and tests. Specific efforts are underway to obtain olfactory epithelia and brainstem on a limited number of patients dying of COVID-19 to test hypotheses regarding neurotropism of virus.
