Abstract
The FAMAS project coordinated by Jérémie Pourchez (Ecole des mines de St Etienne) focuses on the filtering efficiency of airborne pathogens (viruses and bacteria) of face masks against COVID-19. It aims in particular to optimize the experimental bench dedicated to measures of bacterial filtration efficiency of surgical masks, developed by the team in March 2020 (the 3rd in the world) and certified by ANSM experts, in the face of the significant need and rapid assessment of face masks.
