Abstract
The purpose of the IFN-COVID19 project is to explore how Sars-CoV-2 reacts to an anti-infectious molecule produced by the immune system: type I interferon. Currently being tested in clinical trials, the Interferon treatment could show promise in managing some forms of Covid-19.
