Abstract
The I-SENSE project examines differences and similarities in implemented political measures for social distancing in Denmark and Sweden with the aim of being better prepared for a possible next wave or next pandemic. Both countries have introduced several policies on social distance, but their policies differ markedly. While authorities in Denmark have implemented legal provisions and extensive restrictions - largely similar to most other European countries - the Swedish authorities have predominantly implemented voluntary recommendations.
