Abstract

Male, BAME and obese populations have lower adiponectin levels than other populations. This study will use biomarker, genomic and cellular studies to examine the association of adiponectin levels with COVID pathological progression due to the specific effects of this complex protein on suppressing inflammation in the lungs.
