Abstract
Innovation: To facilitate spatial distancing requirements, the entire downtown of Saint Germain-en-Laye (SGL) will be closed to motorised traffic and its streets used for shops, cafes, restaurants and cultural events. A series of flexible physical and digital tools (an e-commerce platform) will be developed to allow the safe resumption of economy and urban life and to generate a shift towards sustainable modes of travel. Expected Results: This project will approximate local businesses to local communities. The proximity will lead to a more sustainable model of a 15 minutes cities in which all the necessary goods are at a walking reach.
