Abstract
Development of a two-stage testing assay for the COVID-19 pathogen. Fluorescent/dipstick-based viral RNA detection first stage (10-100 copies detected) and a centralised sequencing second stage to further improve the accuracy of the test. This two-stage testing strategy may be suitable as a home-based or point-of-care assay.
