Abstract
The RIPCOV project is studying the roles of type I interferons (IFN-I) and plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDCs) in Covid-19. He will use mouse models to trace or inactivate pDCs in vivo and follow IFN-I producing cells with a high degree of resolution. This approach will test the hypothesis that IFN-I and pDCs could play either a beneficial or a deleterious role, depending on their activation dynamics from the first days after infection, which is itself dose-dependent. infectious virus received or the initial effectiveness of viral control.
