Abstract

Based on a collaboration of SURFsara (central organisation for ICT in Dutch higher education), the Virtual Dutch Men (an acclaimed developer of VR applications), and VU University Amsterdam (scientific partner, but also stakeholder), this project proposes a highly immersive social Virtual Reality intervention to enhance well-being and learning motivation among first-year university students with limited or no access to campus life and fellow students.
