Abstract
During and after the COVID-19 outbreak there must be attention and support for nurses (in training) in all care sectors (V&VN, 2020). In response to this, Collard & Vermeulen (2020) formulated three questions for nurses who have to do their work in the current extreme conditions. They are meant to be introductory questions to be deployed in a low-threshold, supportive manner to initiate a conversation about the right subjects. The aim is to understand to what extent nurses (in training) experience that the posing of 'three good questions' contributes to effectively dealing with the emotional strain during and after the COVID-19 outbreak.
