Abstract
This project starts with an analysis and optimisation of the patient flow of four outpatient clinics of the Sint Maartenskliniek (rheumatology, orthopaedics) and the University Medical Center Utrecht (oncology, haematology). The characteristics of these outpatients' clinics are similar to a broad range of outpatient clinics: joint waiting room for an outpatient clinic by appointment, several appointments per day, and additional investigations (possibly without an appointment) prior to or following an appointment at another department.
