Abstract

With this research, we want to demonstrate whether and during which social situations and medical procedures (with a focus on non-invasive respiratory support) aerogenic spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus takes place. For this, air measurements will be taken using a microbiological air sampler. Using a PCR, it will be examined whether virus particles are present. In the case of a positive PCR, the material will be cultured to isolate the virus. During this research, medical knowledge will be combined with knowledge of aerodynamics.
