Abstract
There is considerable concern among scholars and in the society at large that a re-traditionalization of gender roles will occur in the wake of the Corona crisis, undoing most of what has been achieved and taken for granted in the last decades in the direction of less gender inequality. Using extant data and a short specialized survey, the project will outline criteria for different scenarios of the pandemic. Policy measures useful to bolster the feasibility of combining work and family roles against the effects of the crisis will be outlined.
