Abstract

Concurrent Infectious Disease Simulation. The joint spread of SARS-Cov-2 and influenza is modeled in the project. On the one hand, shared hospital resources and the associated possible bottlenecks are considered. On the other hand, the effects of measures that are currently used against SARS-Cov-2 on the spread of influenza are analyzed. The aim is a simulation model that supports decision-makers in developing strategies against waves of infection that occur together.
