Abstract

Conventional and cellulose-based Covid-19 Protection. Lenzing AG already supplies fibers to the medical and protective clothing segments, which is why know-how and networks are available here. This should now be built on in order to set up production for the necessary protective materials (e.g. masks) as quickly as possible (together with partners), which then also guarantees local supply in the long term. One focus is on special cellulose nonwovens that Lenzing has developed in recent years (LENZING ™ Web Technology).
