Abstract
The VASCO project, coordinated by Jean-Luc Diehl (Hôpital Européen Georges Pompidou / Paris), aims to prospectively and jointly study pulmonary physiopathological data (mainly alveolar dead space) and biological markers of coagulopathy and endothelial dysfunction in patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) COVID-19 and non-COVID-19. This work will contribute to a better description of the physiopathology of ARDS secondary to SARS-CoV-2 and should make it possible to identify the profile of patients in whom curative anticoagulant therapy or even thrombolytic treatments could be considered.
