Abstract
On 21ST March 2020, Uganda reported the first case of COVID-19 and by 1ST April 2020, a total lock down was instituted by the government to limit the spread of COVID-19. Despite the continuity of health services, patients living with both acute and chronic illnesses are not able to access health services. We propose to conduct a cross-sectional study using a mixed methods approach to determine the effect of COVID-19 total lock down on severity of non-communicable diseases among HIV patients obtaining care from Kasangati health Center IV.
