Abstract
Various measures initiated by the federal government and the cantons are intended to help keep the number of new SARS-CoV-2 infections low. Contact tracing by the cantons is an important element in containing the pandemic. The SwissCovid app, which has been available since June 25, 2020, supplements classic contact tracing. The aim of the present study is to investigate the use of the SwissCovid app in the population, in particular whether the users of the app follow the recommended procedures in the event of an exposure report or a positive PCR test result. This takes place via a survey of the users.
