Abstract
Epidemiological study and expression of polymorphisms in patients with COVID-19 infection under treatment with ACEI or AIIRA. The aim is to establish the association and the impact between COVID-19 infection and chronic treatment with ACEI or AIIRA, in terms of a torpid-fatal clinical course. These drugs increase the expression of ECA2, a vehicle for entry to target cells in SARS CoV / SARS CoV-2 acute respiratory syndrome. The aim is to establish the relationship between viral load and genetic predisposition by identifying polymorphisms and their expression linked to this enzyme, related to diseases such as: diabetes, hypertension and stroke and their treatments; trying to develop clinical trials to identify more efficient therapies in a population with high mortality.
