Abstract

Currently there are no formal studies on the efficacy of BF in the transfer of protective factors against SARS_COV-2, and its safety, understood as the exclusion of it as a source of spread of the virus and cause of illness in infants. BF is essential for the correct development of the most vulnerable neonatal populations. This cohort study will evaluate whether there is transmission of the virus through BF (using highly sensitive technology) and whether it depends on viral load. In addition, it will investigate the transfer of immunological / inflammatory factors and microbiological markers potentially associated with the severity of Covid-19
