Abstract
Presented by Carolina Horta Andrade (UFG), a study seeks to reposition drugs already approved for use in humans and to identify new drug candidates for the treatment of Covid-19 with the potential for rapid clinical development. The studies will be carried out through a multidisciplinary approach that will involve the development and application of artificial intelligence tools, virtual screening assays, enzymatic and biophysical assays, antiviral activity tests in cell culture in a level 3 biological containment laboratory, structural characterization of the complexes protein-ligand, synthesis and optimization of analogues, for the identification of effective compounds useful in the treatment of Covid-19
