Abstract

Led by Gabriela Rodrigues Mendes Duarte, from the Federal University of Goiás (UFG), the project has two objectives: 1) to develop, optimize and validate a rapid test on a conventional scale (tubes) for monitoring Covid-19 through molecular evaluation of patients with suspected infection caused by the virus in order to control the pandemic in the State of Goiás; and 2) adapt the methodology developed in tubes for low-cost disposable microfluidic devices that have great potential for point-of-care applications
