Abstract

Socio-spatial constraints determine the areas most impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, requiring territorialized actions by the public authorities and civil society entities, in order to mitigate the deepening of social inequalities in vulnerable territories. The integrated performance of the civil and public spheres can mean a way to qualify the proposal of public policies and, at the same time, empower popular organizations, entities and local networks for the identification of territorial vulnerabilities and potential, a fundamental aspect for directing actions to combat the pandemic. . The present research proposal is dedicated to the production of data that support state and popular action and points out ways of integration between public authorities and civil society in order to answer the following question: how can the production of freely accessible territorial information contribute to directing and optimize the performance of public authorities and civil society in reducing social inequalities deepened by the pandemic of COVID-19?
