Abstract

The present proposal has the general objective of developing telecare activities for the elderly population with dementia and their care, participating in the Continuous Action Extension Projects "Ambulatory of Geriatrics and Gerontology" and "Caring for the elderly and their caregivers at the University of Brasilia". For the proposed activities, it will be used: telephone, audio and / or video equipment and internet. Through these devices, it is intended to carry out nursing consultations, dissemination of made videos, telephone calls, cell phone messages for the elderly group in the community in general, elderly people with dementia and their caregivers. The activities will be supervised by professors from the Nursing Course FS / UnB. The resources will be used considering the ethical and human principles. All activities will be recorded.
