Abstract
The first case of the new coronavirus pandemic, SARS-CoV2, was identified in Wuhan, China, on December 31 of last year. Since then, cases have started to spread rapidly around the world: first in the Asian continent, and then in other countries that have also been affected, such as South Korea, Italy, Iran, Japan and even Brazil (WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION, 2020b). In March, the World Health Organization (WHO) defined the outbreak of the disease as a pandemic. Contact tracking is an important part of epidemiological investigation and active surveillance. The interruption of the transmission of the COVID-19 virus is based on the early detection and immediate isolation of new cases.
