Abstract

The study was commissioned to determine the quality of saliva as sample material for the detection of SARS-CoV-2. Saliva is a simple sampling method (less invasive) and could be an advantage over nasopharyngeal swabs, which are only recommended by professionals (which is not necessary with saliva).
