Abstract
This project will provide timely, applied advice to states and policymakers about ways to support the mental and behavioral health needs during the pandemic through a series of blog posts. This will involve an in-depth examination of state responses to COVID-19, focusing on how certain states have taken specific measures to protect mental and behavioral health, and how other states can implement similar methods. Best-practices in telemental health will be integrated into the discussion to provide background on how evidence-based methods can bolster state response. Recommendations to state legislators and leadership will ensure their response efforts are inclusive of mental and behavioral health needs.
