Abstract
This project will provide timely, monthly data on three key questions for the Commonwealth Fund's Medicare Data Hub using the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Virtual Research Data Center (VRDC). The three areas for analyses include the number of Medicare beneficiaries with COVID-19 diagnoses, Medicare fee-for-service spending (total and COVID-19-positive), and telehealth use. Additional analyses, on topics to be determined, will enable the Fund to be responsive to changes in the policy environment. All analyses will include splits by age, race, dual eligibility status, geography, and more when applicable.
