Abstract
Submission of two research projects to CAPPesq, via Plataforma Brasil, on the development of serological methods for the diagnosis of SARS-COV2 (Covid-19). In partnership with ICB-USP (Prof. Luiz Durigon), two laboratories of the Institute of Tropical Medicine are developing serological tests, based on viral cultures in cells obtained by ICB-USP. We intend to make available, as soon as possible, serological tests (ELISA and IFI) aimed at the diagnosis of Covid-19, since Rt-PCR, although very sensitive and specific, cannot be performed on the scale expected in an epidemic. Responsible: Prof. Thelma Suely Okay, from FMUSP
