Abstract

New drug formulations, especially those little or insoluble in water, in the form of nanodispersions based on bixin, a compound isolated from Bixa orellana (annatto). Commercial products present the drugs on the micrometric scale while our presentations are nanometric, which allows reaching the alveoli more efficiently.
