Abstract

The observatory develops statistical and mathematical tools to inform public debate and public management. At the moment, the Observatory supports the São Paulo Municipal Health Secretariat, the São Paulo State Pandemic Crisis Committee, and the Brazilian Army General Staff (2nd Division, Planning and Operations Section). The Observatory maintains a publicity website (https://covid19br.github.io) and has an intense presence in the media, with participation in vehicles such as Fantástico, Portal G1, Folha de São Paulo, CNN Brasil (see "Media" section of the website ).
