Abstract
FAU USP COVID-19 was developed by the Design in Action Research Group of FAU USP in collaboration with Inova USP. In order to quickly meet the demand for face shields at the beginning of the pandemic, a model was developed with simple assembly from parts available on the market. Tested and approved by the HC team. Assembly guide available on the website www.dea. fau .usp.br/downloads allows production on demand. This action emphasizes the potential of design as a multiplier of creative solutions and the sharing of knowledge generated at the University.
