Abstract
The viral infection process is a continuum between invasion, replication, alert, immediate and future defense, and a return to normal condition. The IB's Neuroimmunomodulation and Chronopharmacology Laboratories are currently expanding these studies with biological data obtained from patients and infected with SarsCov2 evaluating the relationship of signaling pathways and cytokine synthesis, adhesion molecules and molecules involved in virus replication with production of melatonin. These studies aim to expand the knowledge of escapes from defense mechanisms and to propose supportive therapies that may be useful at this time and in others where there is an imbalance between defense and attack.
