Abstract

20,000 volunteers recruited who agreed to provide finger-prick blood sample every month for 6 months and complete symptom survey. First results published in July. Now extending to all 500,000 UK Biobank participants using lateral flow tests during Q1 2021. Will also be used as recruitment frame for imaging study selecting 3000 people with and without evidence of prior Covid to assess effects of SARS-CoV-2 on major organs.
