Abstract

We have undertaken a comprehensive review of the current evidence base relating to vitamin D levels and supplementation for the prevention/treatment of respiratory disease, in particular COVID 19 infection. We conclude that there is insufficient evidence to make any recommendations and that intervention studies are needed.
