Abstract

Why have Covid-19 contamination rates increased in Africa ? And more particularly in Kenya ? What role does the population's perception of their vulnerabilities play ? To what extent does it affect the adoption of preventive behaviors in the face of the Covid-19 threat ? In order to better understand the causes of the spread of the virus, the researchers will study in particular the nature of this perception according to the social groups identified. The knowledge gathered will be used to shape targeted prevention, communication and information programs in key countries, in order to control not only the current pandemic, but also those that may arise in the future. In summary : a project aiming to assess how perceptions of vulnerability to Covid-19 influence the adoption of preventive behaviors, according to the population subgroups identified.
