Abstract

Within the Bristol UNCOVER research group portfolio of COVID-19 research, Professor Finn and the team are establishing the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test that is being used by Public Health England (PHE) to test patients and NHS staff. This will enable them undertake some of the research and development activities needed by PHE but which they do not currently have the capacity to take forward
