Abstract
There is an urgent need to identify why some patients with COVID-19 do very well, and why others require intensive care stay, and sometimes die from the illness. The DISCOVER study is an observational study aimed at identifying markers that predict how COVID-19 affects patients. The study is focusing on medical history (such as age, sex, and previous conditions), as well as a range of blood markers that we can measure.
