Abstract

The current mandated school closure en masse is exceptional and the lived-experiences of this educational shift needs monitoring and recording from the perspective of children and their well-being. The research aims to investigate impacts on student mental health by: monitoring and recording the immediate day-to-day realities of widespread attempts at 'home-schooling' in the midst of school closure; and listening to Year 11 and Year 13 voice their concerns, hopes and fears.
