Abstract

C/WGS project'Äôs aim is to enhance existing WGS technologies and their capacity to respond not only to new emerging SARS-Cov-2 variants, but also to other pathogens of concern in Lithuania. This project is the continuation of previous project Grant/2021/PHF/23776 and ensures the support and extension of previously implemented technologies. Significant objectives of this project would be: the use of existing technologies for implementation of new assays, improving previously implemented integration systems and initiation of new integration systems for other than SARS-CoV-2 pathogens; sustainable workflow optimization, further personnel training and increasing the visibility of the project to the public.
