Abstract

This project will examine the impacts of living through the COVID-19 pandemic on the mental health and sexual and reproductive health of 2SLGBTQ BIPOC communities. Working with the Community Based Research Centre, and their ongoing quantitative and qualitative research with 2SLGBTQ communities across Canada, an intersectional social justice approach will guide the analysis to understand better the shared drivers of health (in)equity and health system experiences. In studying multiply marginalized participants there may be new conclusions that can be drawn about the differential experiences across these groups to inform future health service delivery and health policy planning that improve access and reduce inequities.
