Abstract

The project aims to increase community resilience and cohesion through youth participatory action to address the critical gap in public life participation of youth that compromises their cohesiveness and capacity to withstand future social, economic and environmental shocks and stressors in a country already severely impacted by a weak economy, lack of opportunities, scarcely efficient social services and precarious social safety-nets and high rates of out-migration, all further exacerbated by the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic.
