Abstract
This project supports the review of initiatives funded under the Climate and Resilience (CLARE) partnership that have the potential for scaling the uptake and impact of research on climate change adaptation and resilience. It also aims to inform the design of the next generation of climate change research programming. Spread over multiple months, it will provide a facilitated virtual learning process among a set of currently supported researchers to take stock of their progress and lessons learned to date, including the synthesis of results and avenues for future action. It will provide opportunities to collectively reflect on approaches, activities, and actions to scale and explore themes of interest, such as gender, social inclusion, and adaptation to programming during the COVID-19 pandemic. This exercise will also gather feedback on the future of the CLARE partnership and how to adjust current implementation. This project is part of the Climate and Resilience (CLARE) partnership, a joint initiative between IDRC and the UK'Äôs Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. CLARE aims to scale the uptake and impact of climate research and to support research that will accelerate adaptation and catalyze climate action in the Global South.
