Abstract

The mental and physical health of young people has deteriorated due to the COVID-19 pandemic. To reduce the negative effects on health, it is important to strengthen the resilience of young people. We want to do this by looking at which factors contribute to this. We hope to discover which factors contribute to resilience, so that they can be used more to help young people. We also want to discover which groups of young people had a more difficult time during the pandemic, so that extra support can be given to them. This is important so that professionals know how to best help young people in times of crisis. In addition, it also provides young people with knowledge about which factors can help them to increase their own resilience and health. Parents of young people can help them with this. We carry out this project by looking at existing data from questionnaires and interviews.
