Abstract

Where we spend our time (with other people) determines how easily respiratory viruses, such as the Coronavirus, can spread. Many corona measures such as lockdowns, curfews and the partial or complete closure of public sectors are based on this. This reduces infections, but it remains difficult to predict how much these measures contribute to the control of respiratory viruses. A good relationship between effective measure and associated economic and social impact is difficult to determine.
