Abstract
A COVID-19 infection is mild in most people. This is in contrast to vulnerable groups, such as people with a chronic illness. In these groups, proportionately more people are admitted to hospital and the risk of death is higher. It is important to be able to estimate how many infections and hospital admissions are expected in this group of people.
