Abstract
Centering Pregnancy is prenatal group care that combines medical checks with knowledge sharing, joint learning and the creation of a social network. This care provides better pregnancy outcomes and women are more satisfied. Contacts have currently been reduced to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Physical meetings have stopped and been replaced by online meetings. Medical checks still take place at the midwife's office. Goal To support pregnant women during the Corona pandemic and shorten contacts, they can carry out some of the checks themselves at home with a home test kit. TNO put together the kit with midwives and pregnant women and tested it. The home test kit consisted of a blood pressure monitor, glucose meter, urine strips and a card for recording child movements, lifestyle & well-being of the mother. Results Pregnant women and midwives are positive about the home test kit. They see it as a good addition (not a replacement) to existing care.
