Abstract
To assess whether the Covid-19 pandemic has had an effect on the vaccination coverage of children and adolescents and whether the vaccination recommendations against diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis (DTP) adjusted in 2019 are being implemented as recommended, the vaccination rates calculated as standard as part of the cantonal vaccination monitoring are not sufficient. Additional in-depth analyses were therefore commissioned by the FOPH. The objectives of these analyses are: 1. To determine trends in DTP uptake for 2-year-old children between 2017-2019 and 2020-2022. 2. To evaluate the vaccination rates of selected vaccinations before the pandemic and compare them with the vaccination rates during and after the pandemic.
