Abstract

Under this project, the contractor receives, processes, distributes and store biospecimens being collected from three distinct groups of COVID-19 positive patients (estimated study size is 5k). The contractor provides transport packaging and physical management of the shipping of the samples from the clinical sites to the bioprocessing laboratory. The contractor links the biospecimens received to biospecimen inventory system of record, processes and distributes those aliquots needed for immediate assay, while sending the excess to the NCI-Frederick Central Repository. Those samples may be retrieved for distribution based on DCEG requests and approvals. All samples will be handled according to CDC guidelines.
