Abstract
Most people recover from acute Covid-19 within a few weeks; however, when symptoms remain beyond 3 months, Long Covid may be diagnosed. Presenting with a myriad of physical and psychological symptoms; Long Covid is a significant public health problem and one notably marked by health inequalities in terms of ethnicity and socioeconomic status. There is limited evidence to inform which interventions may be effective for Long Covid, however, it is increasingly recognised that exercise-based rehabilitation is a viable management option. This project seeks to determine if exercise-based rehabilitation is effective and acceptable for patients with Long Covid who were not hospitalised. Mixed methods enquiry will be used to ensure an equal focus on outcomes and experiences in the context of health inequalities.
